Our Quarry millspun wool yarn is a natural heathered grey inspired by the quarries that are riddled throughout Montana. After the Gold Rush that swept through the West in the 1860’s, many dissused mining sites became quarries for the granite or gravel that helped contribute to the foundations of this state.

We choose to keep the entire textile process local by sourcing the raw sheep wool from local small-scale farms, then passing it through the hands of the fine folks at The Wool Mill, a zero waste fiber mill based in Belgrade, Montana, to be professionally washed and millspun.
