No two mugs are alike, and we aim to keep it that way! Hand-thrown with original marbled clay (brown and white) on a manpowered Lockerbie kick wheel, bisque-fired, glazed (oatmeal), then fired in our vintage Duncan Pro Kiln.

A tribute to Kyle's Greek heritage, this vessel is a modern take on a Greek-style Mastoid, which was traditionally shaped like a breast and used only for nourishing drinks such as milk and tea (no alcohol). One would hold, or cup, the bottom of the vessel with their hand as opposed to holding the “handle”, then place their thumb in the groove of the “handle,” as show in the last picture.

Properties: Food safe, as well as oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe.
