Our Village Button Scarf is a one-of-a-kind piece of knitwear using an original pattern by Bee's Knees ‘n’ Knits and handsewn with a wooden button (OSFA). Knit lovingly by hand, not machine.

FIBER CONTENT: 100% sheep wool. This particular yarn was sourced from Manos Del Uruguay, a nonprofit organization and member of the World Fair Trade Organization, whose aim is to “support rural women” by providing artisan working opportunities and “allowing them to be independent and support their families while being able to live in their home villages.  The yarn is spun with high quality fibers and dyed into gorgeous colorways that reflect the rich landscape and culture of Uruguay.  Manos is focused on yarns that are sustainable, ethical and beautiful.”

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Dry clean or hand wash in cold water with a small amount of mild soap, then rinse in cold water and air dry. Woolen items do not need to be washed regularly as they are moisture wicking and odor resistant by nature. To preserve this one-of-a-kind accessory, do not agitate when washing nor machine wash. The wooden button may be touched up with beeswax finish.
