Our Mary Anne’s Wannigan traditional castile soap is one of our beloved originals!

A wanigan or wannigan was a shelter often used by loggers or workmen as a bunkhouse, kitchen, or storage space. We were inspired by the river wannigans, a barge-like boat, with a mounted cook shack that log drivers steered downstream to transport logs to sawmills. Oftentimes, they would sell soap, tobacco, and other goods as they made their way down.

Made in small batches using cold pressed olive oil, local whole milk (Kalispell Kreamery), lye, essential oils* (cedarwood + juniper berry), dried indigo powder*, and dried blue cornflowers.
